I am primarily a watercolor artist.  I spent a career teaching art in public schools and institutions.  New York was my home for my youth and Utah my adopted home, where my children grew up.

The shapes of mountains, canyons, and mesas inspire me, as I grew up in the East where no such shapes exist! Also the colors, especially the redrock, and all the other mineral colors found in Southern Utah and the West Desert. The emptiness and vast spaces, the quiet and the dark sky inspire me.
