Brittanna Roberts Kercher

Brittanna Roberts Kercher graduated as the School of the Arts Valedictorian from Utah Valley University in 2021 with her Bachelor of Science in Art Education. Brittanna won the AAUW Award 'Celebrating Women Vibrant and Equal' at the 2020 Utah Women Artist Exhibition, was the Visual Arts winner of the 2021 UVU Showcase of Undergraduate Scholarly and Creative Works, and had her art accepted into the internationally juried show 'Bound and Unbound Vl' 2021 at the University of South Dakota. Brittanna is currently taking a break after 2.5 years of teaching high school drawing/printmaking to work on her own art.

Amateur

As an artist, I often use Utah scenery as inspiration for my artwork as landscapes are a particular favorite of mine. I always use my own photographs as references which often requires exploring new places around me. I have come across amazing hidden red rock coves, seen beautiful sunrises, and enjoyed seeing the changing color schemes throughout the year. Utah scenery has a little bit of everything, which continues to surprise me and inspire new artworks.
