Karen Kendall

Karen resides in Park City, UT, and is continually inspired by the beauty in nature around her. Karen’s love for nature drives her life and her passions, and is reflected in her art. Her work employs an exciting palette, bold structure, and abstract ideas. Palette knife provides dimension, interest and a contemporary feel, and is used heavily in each piece. Karen has commissioned paintings, sold at shows, and has donated work for fundraising events.

In addition, Karen enjoys bringing art to the community as a volunteer at various arts organizations, and as a board member and the Park City Artists Association. Sharing a love of art with people of all backgrounds, ages, and experience is a passion; seeing the spark of creativity and wonder come from a “blank canvas” is incredibly rewarding.

Not just the grand exhibitions of rock and color found in the canyon lands, but also in the subtle day to day changes of light on the Wasatch Mountains in the morning and evening.
