Susan A. Johnson

Susan A. Johnson is a native of Utah and an avid outdoor enthusiast. Her love of nature and a lifetime of experience in the outdoors have given her a deep understanding of living creatures and their natural environment and have inspired her artwork for many years. Susan received her formal education at Salt Lake Community College, earning a degree in Illustration and Design. She has also studied privately with noted artists John Hughes, John Poon and Robert Adamson. Susan has won numerous awards for her artwork and has exhibited at Midway Art Association-Plein Air Invitational; Bountiful Davis Art Center; solo exhibition at Centerpoint Theatre/Legacy Gallery; Alpine Art Gallery; Springville Museum of Art; Pioneer Memorial Theatre/Loge Gallery; Eccles Community Art; Logan Fine Art; The Rice Gallery; Emerald Art Center and was especially honored to receive the AAUW Helen W. Allen Honor Award for Traditional Art in 2020.
