Maureen O'Hara Ure

Maureen O’Hara Ure is a Professor Lecturer in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Utah. Phillips Gallery recently hosted her solo show, Elsewhere. As soon as that exhibit closed and the semester ended, O’Hara Ure set out on a new venture, a sketching trip to Spain, a study focused on Romanesque art and artifacts. In addition to a series of paintings, this University-supported project will produce an artist’s book, the fourth to appear under her imprint, The Hand in Glove Press.
