Born in Athens, Greece, and adopted by a family in Utah. My parents introduced me to the world of art at a young age, we studied extensively, art and artists through the centuries. I’ve been able visit art museums worldwide. Some of my favorite artists include; Degas, Monet, Miro, Warhol, Kahlo, Toulouse, O’Keeffe, the Great Masters as well as Modern Art.

As an Award-Winning International Speaker - Awarded the Iconic Woman of the Decade – Making the World a Better Place for all, I Authored the Book “The BreakOver” Reinventing yourself at any age or any stage, and at age 63, I took the opportunity during Covid to reinvent myself once more and created my 4^th business – Luxe Couture Art. I’ve always been creative and artistic and finally have the time to concentrate on my passion. The Luxe Couture line is created by utilizing collaborative elements, mixed media and textures, and natural materials to create a colorful fusion of recycled objects from wearable art to home décor. Luxe Couture transforms plain into posh, simple into spectacular, every-day to elegant, bare to bedazzled and boring to beautiful.

We live in a consumptive culture, where we discard without regard. It’s time we all start respecting nature and the environment before it’s too late. One way we can do this by recycling and transforming items we would normally toss. This is one way; I’m doing my part in saving the environment while creating beauty. Do you remember the last gift you gave or received? I don’t! which is another reason why I design and create custom, memorable and exclusive gifts that will be treasured and stand the test of time. From watercolors to embellished decorative frames and mirrors, to jewelry, clothing and shoes, everything old becomes new again. I’m naturally spunky, curious, and adventurous. I enjoy a challenge, so when others tell me you can’t do that, I say watch me. So, after a successful career in the corporate world, I’m now living my dream and having a blast creating art. You’ve probably heard the saying “when you’re doing something you love, you’ll never work a day”, so true.

I enjoy designing custom pieces for clients and seeing the excitement when they love their unique creations. I find inspiration through meditation, in beauty of nature, from other artists work, in daily life and in the faces of people. As I create and design, some of my work is laid out and planned while other pieces naturally flow. Art is an evolving process that is created from the heart. Art is the experience and inclusive. Great art inspires and creates conversation. You know you’ve arrived when you’re being copied! Creativity takes courage, for one’s art will not appeal to all, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I’m excited,  to be accepted into several Art Festivals this year, in Utah and throughout the country.
