Anne Becker

Anne Becker is a contemporary abstract painter who’s paintings can be described as colorful, simplified, and expressionistic. As Anne paints, she acts and reacts to each shape, color and mark until she feels there is a balanced and working relationship between all of the elements and an image that expresses the mood and feeling she is working towards. Anne has a degree in painting and drawing from the University of Utah.

The Utah landscape is the focus of much of my painting. We hike a lot and I often bring my paints along and enjoy getting to know the spectacular scenery through plein air studies.
