Allie Finlinson

Allie Wheeler is a mixed media artist whose work focuses on personal memories, through collage, assemblage, and handmade books. Born and raised in Delta, Utah, she received her Associate of Fine Arts from Snow College. Her work has been shown in multiple exhibitions including: Content - Artists Books  in Davis, California, as well as the 2021 Flowers Exhibition, Medford Arts, Medford, New Jersey. She recently received a Merit Award in Drawing in Artists in Residence; a Work in Progress at Snow College Art Gallery . Wheeler has taught a collage workshop at Delta High School, and hopes to continue to teach these workshops throughout her career. Her most recent work was her solo exhibition, Memoria Technica, at Snow College, where she displayed her work as a mixed media artist through the idea of reliquaries. Wheeler will be continuing her education with a BFA at Weber State University, and is currently residing in North Ogden, Utah with her husband.

I am very inspired by the culture here. I grew up in central Utah and I loved living a simple life in the country and everybody knew everybody. I have lived in Utah my whole life and I really enjoy simple living.
