Lindalee Holmes

I am abstract artist who is drawn to the energy of  color and texture found in nature with a love for attempting to capture the beauty of the world around me.  Especially drawn to the energy of flowers.  I paint primarily in acrylic and use a variety of materials to create texture.  My tools consist of scrapers, squeegees, paper towels, my fingers and the occasional brush.  When I paint I am compelled to create images that convey emotion and mood in an atmospheric canvas that embodies memories of places.

Utah has a special energy that captured me the minute I first visited. I am inspired by the beautiful, ever changing landscape. The kindness of the people and the vibrant art community. We made Utah our permanent home a little over two years ago and have never looked back. It I s the best place to live!
