Lola Kartchner

Lola Kartchner is a self taught watercolor artist. She is best known as an award winning signature member of the Utah Watercolor Society. More recently, she has become recognized as a signature member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies."Although some form of art has always been part of my life, I began painting in watercolor in 1998. From the first time water and brush touched paint and paper, it was love. This beautiful, illusive medium captivates me every time I paint. Though basically a traditional landscape artist, I don't limit the range of subjects I paint. I try to re-create on paper what mother nature has designed on earth. Living in Utah, there is an endless supply of inspiration. I hope others will enjoy seeing my art as much as I love creating it."
