Irene Rampton

I've worked for over 20 years as a freelance artist, designing and painting. I have participated in numerous art exhibitions, including my most recent 2 person show at Phillips Gallery, SLC, UT. I currently have a painting at the Women's Show at Eccles Art Center in Ogden, UT and a painting at Logan Fine Arts, juried in by the Utah Watercolor Society, of which I'm a signature member.

Utah has beautiful landscapes, mountains, and numerous National Parks. We are fortunate to have 4 distinct seasons, making living here very popular. The people are exceptionally friendly and helpful. For me, being an artist that paints women, I find many of my subjects around town while I'm shopping or enjoying lunch with a friend. I've never yet been turned away when I ask if I can take a few photographs of someone. If I feel I have found an especially outstanding "model", I arrange a photo shoot.
